Shaving Tips For Men

For men who like a cleanly shaved face, the task of daily shaving can at times seem monotonous. Often men will rush through it or give a poor effort.  Shaving should be done carefully from beginning to end.  Most men have a preference on how they shave electric vs. razor, shaving cream vs. gel and never considering another option.  If you suffer from nicks, cuts, razor burn or razor bumps it’s time for a change.  Electric razors are less likely to irritate than blades, but if you prefer a blade, choose a single or double blade razor.

Shaving Hints:

  • Rinsing your beard area with warm water before shaving will help soften your beard.
  • Apply a shaving cream that has a high concentration of lubricants and moisturizers.
  • Use a sharp blade to ensure a smooth shave without irritation.
  • Always shave in the direction of your beard growth.
  • Avoid using aftershave lotions that contain alcohol.
  • Finish with a moisturizer that contains sun screen.
  • Don’t forget the eyebrows!  Waxing and shaping are a must.

More men are realizing the importance of good skin care and find that regular facials help keep their facial skin supple and healthy, the condition needed for daily shaving.
